Trendy wallpaper is panoramic! This type of wallcovering allows you to highlight a specific space with either an imposing or a wispy pattern, depending on your choice. It may seem difficult to hang the first time you use it, but good organization and two pairs of arms are usually all you need to succeed. When you receive your wallpaper, it comes in several 85 cm strips for the standard formats (M, L, XL, XXL and 3XL) we offer.
For even greater ease of use, we suggest you give us the exact dimensions of your wall. This way, you'll receive a made-to-measure panoramic wallpaper that you can hang without constraint. In each case, a few rules apply. First, prepare your wall. It needs to be clean. Dry and smooth, a quick brushstroke will remove any specks of dust that could become embedded in the glue and create small bubbles under your wallpaper.
You'll then need to place markers to show you where to lay each strip according to its size. Glue your wall with special non-woven wallpaper paste. Place your first strip carefully, plumb and level, then press down to remove any air between the wallpaper and the glue. This must be done from the center of the strip outwards. This will ensure a perfect finish when you're finished.
How to choose the right panoramic wallpaper?
To choose the right trendy wallpaper, there are several criteria to consider. First of all, think about the room in your home in which you want to install your panoramic wallpaper. Is it large, small, square or rectangular? Is it bright or dark? All this information can help you make your choice according to your objective. In a small, dark square room, for example, a panoramic wallpaper with a light pattern should be placed on the wall that is most visible when you walk through the door.
If you want to highlight a space, panoramic wallpaper in a dominant color that contrasts with the rest of your decor is ideal. The pattern, on the other hand, should be in keeping with the overall effect.
